About

With four decades of guitar mastery under his belt, Eliot Levy leads a powerhouse ensemble that turns every performance into something memorable. What started as a stripped-down acoustic concept has evolved into a full band experience that’s greater than the sum of its parts.

This isn’t just about technical skill—though there’s plenty of that with 100+ years of Chicago music scene experience flowing through these musicians. It’s about the details that make you lean in closer, the classically-trained vocals that light up a room, and those unexpected sonic touches you didn’t know were missing until you hear them. The Eliot Levy Band is frosting and candles, foundation and flourish, all working together to create music that’s both polished and alive.

Every show proves that the best music comes from musicians who know their craft inside and out—and aren’t afraid to make it sweet.

The Eliot Levy Band is:

Eliot Levy

Julia Levy

Ron Lincicum

Jason Ziolo

Eliot Levy – Vocals / Guitar

Lead singer and guitarist for Way Off Topic, Eliot has spent the last 40 years fine tuning his impressive skills. Thanks to Covid, the last few years have made a slimmed down acoustic show a staple for many bands and Eliot takes that concept to new levels. Catch the next show to see for yourself!

Julia Levy – Vocals / Percussion

“If Ron is the frosting, Jul is the candle on top lighting up the room. Music has been a constant in her entire life, she’s a classically trained vocalist, and lover of classic rock” says proud dad Eliot.

Ron Lincicum – Guitar / Bass

Frosting. Ron’s goal for any song is to find the extra detail; the sound you’re missing that you didn’t realize was even there until you hear it. You don’t need frosting, but it fills in the cracks and makes the music a little sweeter.

Jason Ziolo – Drums

Jason is a seasoned multi-instrumentalist who has been part of the Chicago music scene for over 30 years, bringing both skill and passion to every performance. He provides the solid rhythmic foundation that drives the sound, while his broader musical knowledge adds depth to the creative process.
